A RedLetterMedia production where the gang watches terrible movies, from bizarre instructional videos to obscure B-movies and decide which is - the Best of the Worst. The idea came about when Mike and Jay decided they needed something even more low-effort than Half in the Bag. It is notable for its utopian aspirations, in that the world it portrays only features women as abstractions. You may think you remember women having appeared on the show, but you don't.
In recent years, the team have introduced increasingly irrelevant gimmicks in a desperate bid to keep what was always a tired and uninteresting concept alive just a bit longer.
It has been running since 2013, and is probably their second most popular production behind Half in the Bag.
Structure[]
A normal episode goes something like this:
- intro
- Two of the boys go through the theme of the episode if there is one
- they select the first VHS tape from the shelf and read the back of the box
- a quick clip of the boys watching the VHS tape
- cut back to the shelf, where they select the second VHS tape, and read the back of the box
- a clip of them watching the second VHS tape
- cut back to the shelf again, they select the third VHS tape, read the box
- clip of them watching the third VHS tape
- Panel
- four of the boys will discuss the three tapes watched one by one (This takes up about 80% of the video)
- destruction
- If a tape is bad enough, the boys will choose an inventive way to eradicate it from the face of the earth
Gimmicks[]
The wheel of the worst[]
- The boys spin a wheel of video tapes four times and then watch whatever the wheel lands on (unless there is something really interesting on there, then Rich will veto)
- usually involves PSAs and informational videos, not actual movies
- They have found some of their favourite (Surviving edged weapons, Creating Rem Lazar) and least favourite (Rainbow's Remedy, Tales from Genesis Space) videos with this gimmick
Plinketto[]
- A big pachinko board, but with garbage B-movies at the bottom
Halloween special[]
- The boys pick 3 horror movies to watch
Christmas special[]
- for Christmas, the boys usually wrap up a collection of Christmas movies and another genre, and then randomly pick the tapes to unwrap
- for 2020, the boys did a special version of Black Spine Edition
Battle of the Genres[]
- The boys pick 3 different movies from 3 different genres based on the front cover
Black Spine Edition & Black Spine Junka[]
- The boys have a collection of tapes with either no spine label or front label
- They have loads of these things collecting dust, so sometimes they decide to watch a few of them at random
- Black Spine Junka:
- they make a Jenga tower with the tapes
- whoever pulls the most tapes without the tower collapsing has to watch their tapes
- sometimes they have to put a tape of Nukie on top for every tape they take out

Jay and/or Mike and/or Rich appear in every episode, with a selection of guests:
